The Annt Kaal concept, which is not as per Gurmat or Gurbanee is a very popular MYTH which has its roots in the Earlier established religious systems. This “concept” was totally demolished and utterly rubbished by the SGGS, but sad to say many still attempt to explain this “myth” and justify it as part of Gurmat, fall back on the Vedas, Purans etc .
In this video Dr Karminder Singh bases his explanations totally on GURBANEE of SGGS and concludes that this Annt Kaal concept is totally out of sync with Gurmat and Gurbanee.
Bhagat Dhanna Ji has been much maligned by the attachment of totally false imaginary works of FICTION. This fake attachments had become so popular that Guru Arjun Ji had to write a SHABAD to EXPOSE all these Falsehoods, myths and tall tales attached to Bhagat Dhanna Ji, and also other Bhagats whose Banee is in the SGGS. What is a Teerath Yatra or Pilgrimage?
A journey made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion or in search of moral or spiritual significance is termed as a teerath yatra or pilgrimage.
I have heard of people saving hard for a pilgrimage and also of some who journey every year as they have the means to do so.
What are they hoping for? Some people do so in the belief that they will attain heavenly aid and come to know God or to access religious powers, knowledge or experience. Others seek boons for health, wealth, progeny and deliverance after death. All are seekers clutching at a straw.

SIKH PYARA OR REHAT PYARI?
“Rehat Pyari Mujhko Sikh Pyara Nahi.”
It is a Sikh’s code of conduct that I love, not the Sikh without it. This is a quote often heard at Vasakhi semagams and everyone assumes that these words were uttered and written by Guru Gobind Singh ji himself. However research reveals that they are just written by someone else as part of a ‘Rehatnama!’
This verse is not Gurbani; meaning it is not from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji but that does not automatically mean we disregard it. But it does mean that we interpret it (and everything else that is not Gurbani) on the kasvatee (benchmark) of Gurbani, on the basis of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Dukh daroo sukh rog bhaeya
All of us have suffered some time or other from some rog. Rog is suffering caused by pain. This pain or suffering can be physical as caused by sickness or mental as caused by thoughts in the mind.
What can reduce physical pain? Yes, medical treatment with pills, ointments, bandages and injections for the patient as well as surgery, exercise, massage and spa come to mind. But what about the mind itself? Can there be illnesses that are not physical in nature? And what lies behind such ailments?
One can also be hurt from being being criticised, scolded or rebuked. Similarly being robbed or victimised at school or place of work can be painful. There can also be mental pain in being poor and homeless just as the lack of education can be felt as a handicap to good employment. Continue reading “ROG AND ROGI”

In Part One of the series aimed at examining the God of Dasam Granth (DG); the following facts were established from within the compositions of DG:
1. The primary God of the Dasam Granth (DG) is Mahakaal and the secondary God is Durga.
2. The writers of a vast majority of DG are poets named Raam, Syam and Nul. Poet Syam’s name as the writer appears across 151 pages of DG while Ram’s appears across 14 pages. Their names also appear jointly across 15 pages of DG suggesting that they worked together. Poet Nul is the writer of one composition. Readers would note that the word “Nanak” as writer does NOT appear even ONCE in the entire DG.
3. The obeisance of these three writers to Mahakal and Durga (the male and female forms of Shivji) suggests that they are adherents of the Vaam Margee SECT of Shivji.
4. Large portions of the core rachnas o DG are lifted from the Markandey Puran and Shiv Puran. Both Purans are written in obeisance of Shivji. Markandey, a devotee of Mahakaal, Durga and Shivji – is highly revered amongst devotees of the Vaam Maragee SECT. The writers of DG have acknowledged such lifting, even mentioning the chapters that are lifted, at the end their rachnas.
5 . These purans – acting as the primary sources of DG – thus provide the LINK and CONTINUITY between the God of these purans (Shivji) and that of DG being the one and same. Shivji is the God of the two purans, and Mahakaal and Durga (two halves of Shivji) are the Gods of DG.
It is worth reiterating that the method of deriving the above mentioned facts relied on using the DG as a primary source. Such a choice of method is not dismissive of secondary sources. It is to allow the reader direct access to the verses within DG where the ideas of these series of essays are coming from.

In both my previous articles in this series, I and many of those commenting have asked two simple questions.
- WHAT are the so called “moral messages that are found in each Chritar” as claimed by Gurmukh Singh.
- WHERE exactly WITHIN the Charitar are these messages to be found.
Not a single verse from any Chritar containing any “moral message” has thus far been produced. Loud and repeated claims of “Yes, there are moral messages, IF you read beyond the literal,” is code for “there are no messages, really.”
The inability to answer this first question has led Gyani Jarnail Singh Arshi to ask “IF indeed there ARE moral messages, why are they BURRIED under a heap of dung?
A very un-palatable word indeed.
